{"id":647,"date":"2012-02-17T13:05:05","date_gmt":"2012-02-17T19:05:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/?p=647"},"modified":"2015-09-08T14:47:39","modified_gmt":"2015-09-08T19:47:39","slug":"cms-library-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/?p=647","title":{"rendered":"CMS Library Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So my darling friend <a href=\"http:\/\/e-literatelibrarian.blogspot.com\/2012\/02\/virtual-library-tour.html\">Tamara Cox, the Eliterate Librarian<\/a>, posted a fun video tour of her library and challenged the rest of us to do the same.<\/p>\n<p>You all should know by now that I <em><strong>love<\/strong><\/em> to make a video, so I was ready to jump on the wagon and get mine out there.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GRgUK0gnUok\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s so overwhelming to think about how much I&#8217;ve done in just over a year since I moved into this position. There&#8217;s nothing like middle school and I adore the crazy, drama-filled, brilliant, talented children that I get to work with each day.<\/p>\n<p>I got an amazing compliment this week when a teacher came in to tell me what one of our 8th grade boys (the one that was recently voted &#8220;Most Athletic&#8221; in the class favorites yearbook poll) said about the library. He told his teacher: &#8220;You know how some restaurants have signs and stuff that say &#8216;World&#8217;s Greatest Hamburger&#8221; or &#8220;World&#8217;s Greatest Pizza&#8221;? Our library needs a sign that says &#8220;World&#8217;s Greatest Library.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Good to know that I&#8217;m doing something right, especially on those days where it&#8217;s an absolute zoo in here and I feel like I might very well have lost my mind \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So my darling friend Tamara Cox, the Eliterate Librarian, posted a fun video tour of her library and challenged the rest of us to do the same.
