After two weeks of completely immersing myself in preparing for this, I presented my &#8220;Free Tech Tools You Can Use&#8221; session at LACUE. The room was PACKED. Standing room only, with people even sitting on the floor. I&#8217;m not exaggerating, look:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0114.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-376 alignnone\" title=\"DSC_0114\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0114-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0114-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0114-1024x685.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Even though I wasn&#8217;t able to use my laptop, I got set up and was able to access everything through <a href=\"http:\/\/librariantiffpresents.wikispaces.com\">my wiki<\/a>. I dressed like my Go! Animate avatar, which was way fun. I shared all of my favorite things and as many examples of them in use as I possibly could. I really hope everyone left with something that they&#8217;d like to try!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0113.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-375\" title=\"DSC_0113\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0113-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0113-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.mightylittlelibrarian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/DSC_0113-1024x685.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I fit a lot in to my 50 minute session. Hopefully I didn&#8217;t completely overwhelm too many people. I also tried my best to hold everyone&#8217;s interest. I&#8217;m loud, energetic, and a spaz so I think that helps. I also did a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polleverywhere.com\/free_text_polls\/LTc1MzI0MDg1Nw\">text-in Poll Everywhere<\/a> survey to try and break it up. And I tried not to take it personally that one lady in the front row kept dozing off&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I really enjoyed myself and can&#8217;t wait to do more presentations in the future!
